Hip a possibility: First, its very difficult to tell without a physical examination and review of your imaging. Arthritis in your hips can often present as groin pain. Hip arthritis would be exacerbated by certain exercise as well. Compression of your lateral femoral cutaneous nerve can also cause nerve pain/shocks. Its not very common though to be bilateral.
