Possibly: It could be, but also could just be bruised. If you are having significant pain go in and get it checked out by your doctor.

Definitely possible: Daniel, Rib fracture is definitely a possibility. You should see your doctor in order to get an X ray to rule out fracture. Hope this helps!

It's possible.: Perhaps it would be a good idea to see your primary care physician for an exam and an xray if indicated. I'm glad the stray dog didn't bite you. Rabies shots are no fun!
