Forget colon cancer: Headache, diarrhea, and possibly nausea this time of year are usually associated with a viral infection. This should go away with time. Just keep fluids going.

For how long?: if a few days - no need to worry (colon cancer highly, highly unlikely at 17!). but if several weeks + - might want to see a physician.
