Foot: It is probably very bruised and contused but an xray would be diagnositc if looking for a fracture. So yes i would get an xray.

Yes: If you are training in MMA, then it is important to rule out a fracture before resuming your training, unless you plan on taking time off anyways. If it's not broken, then you could resume training much sooner than if it is fractured. A lot of fighters have injuries that take forever to heal because they do not take the proper time off before resuming training.
