Not enough info: Given here considering your problem. Do you have any pain? Is the swelling pitting? Is the swelling constant even in the morning? Did anything precede the swelling? An infection or trauma? Have you ever traveled anywhere? Did you have any other diagnostic tests like an mri?

As Dr. Kass: Pointed out, 3 years is a long time to have a swollen foot, and your case is complicated by that one fact alone. I understand your frustration and why you turned to the internet trying to find an answer, but we'd be doing you a disservice to try and guess why you're having this ongoing issue. Get another opinion from a podiatrist or orthopedist who will take the time needed to get to the bottom of.
