Need more specifics: There are different types of these medications, such as long, intermediate, or short acting cardizem. It's best to take the medications as prescribed, as they could either wear off, or accumulate too much in your blood stream, becoming toxic. Bring your medication bottles to your next physician visit, and have them review each bottle and how the medications are to be taken. Discuss options.
