Hiatal hernia: reflux most likely is caused by hiatal hernia and it does get aggravated by food, stress ,body position and other digestive problems people with reflux should avoid spicy and greasy food avoid late meal or snack avoid tight close avoid sleeping flat should sleep on two pillow to keep head up 30 degree keep bowel regular avoid food that cause bloating medical treatment can take care of 90% of it
