Omega3 & fatty liver: There is evidence that the buildup of fat in the liver may improve by taking omega-3 fatty acids. The effective dose has not been established, however. Best treatment for Fatty liver is to lose weight, and lowering your carbohydrates can help with that. Also, it's a good idea to eat actual fish, whether or not you take "fish pills."

I agree with Dr. Chastanet's advice. Regarding fish: The fish to eat are the "fatty fish," which include salmon, tuna, trout, herring, sardines, swordfish, striped bass, anchovies, and mackerel.
