A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need further evaluat: Steroid Injections in the shoulder are usually reserved for patients with arthritis. At 20 years of age you probably has and injury of the ligaments of the shoulder or a tear of the labrum or rotator cuff. You need to have an MRI of the shoulder and be evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon. For the time use an electric heating pad. Non-steroidal anti inflammatory agents such as Motrin or Aleve (naproxen)
