Strengthening/ROM: Your rehabilitation program should consist of strengthening all of your hip flexor and extensor muscles as well as the quadriceps on the affected side. Once establishing the integrity of your hardware you should also have regular range of motion performed at the hip joint and knee joint in order to prevent shortening of the tendons as you're movement is limited by pain postoperative swelling.
