How is he acting?: Is your son acting normally? Luckily, even babies fall and hit their heads often and are fine BUT there are many things to consider... How far did he fall? What surface did he hit? Did he lose consciousness? Swelling/depression of skull? How is he acting? If he is not acting normally, lost consciousness, is vomiting, acting tired then seek medical attention immediately.

Head trauma: If your baby fell on his head from a height over 2 feet, especially onto a hard surface, then it's likely that head has suffered a concussion and is at risk for a bleed in the brain. It is important to have him seen by a doctor, ether your pediatrician or if he is sleepy take him to the nearest ER so his head can be scanned for any such bleed.

From what height?: Babies at this age can easily get a skull fracture from a fall. I do not know the distance he fell, but he definitely needs to be seen!
