Hematoma: This islikely a deep blood collection that pooled between the scalp & skull where there are few blood vessels to help it fade. These are created from broken veins that bridge the scalp through the skull. Sometimes the pool will form a bony calcium deposit that can last months. Eventually it will fade as the kid grows. You never try to drain it or it can become infected. Your doc should confirm it
