Not typically: This would not be a typical symptom of bph. If you are having back pain and do not have a history of this, you should see your doctor to make sure it is nothing serious.

BPH with infection: BPH alone no, but chronic prostatitis, which can cause prostatic hyertrophy, does. This was shown in a study by dr. Ragnar romanus and published in "acta scandinavia" in the early 50's. Most men with spondylitis had chronic prostatiitis in his study. Certainly a venereal link does exist.

Here are some ...: Lower backache is not usually related with BPH alone and more commonly with DJD of the spine coming along with aging in many men. DJD-related lower backache tends to be worse in the morning and better to fade off after walking / moving around.
