Probably: Although it may just be a local reaction treatable with Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and cream, it could also be a cellulitis. Cellulitis is a skin infection requiring antibiotics.

YES: What you are experiencing may be "the tip of the iceberg" and you may feel much worse very soon. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) may not be strong enough especially orally to counteract the venom.
