Malabsorption?: Hi. The two things I can think of that would make you not have higher vitamin D (25-hydroxyvitamin D) given what you're taking, are malabsorption (such as celiac disease) or taking anticonvulsants (like phenytoin or phenobarbital) that cause degradation of vitamin D).

Absorption: You may have a malabsorption problem in your gut. Increase the Vitamin D to 50,000 IU at lead twice a week to 3 times a week for 3 months and re-evaluate. Be evaluated for a possible malabsorption problem
