I always get tight feeling/squeezing under both ribs near my sides just towards the colon bends can this be my anxiety/ibs?

Yes: Abdominal and rib discomfort on both sides at the same time is usually from the bowel, with your history. Only if bending to one side, or coughing relieves it, should you think of other things.
