Get referral: The american academy of neurology has lists of neurologists nationwide, and could provide some names where you live. Your local medical society can also give you some contacts. On-line reviews of doctors can be found at such sites as "health-grades", and primary care doctors often work with neurologists whom they trust.

Typical migraine: Numbness, tingling, nausea, visual symptoms are common in migraine. The headache may last days. Females tend to have familial menstrual migraine. But can have any "variant" of migraine. See your doctor for a referral to a migraine specialist or neurologist.
