Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) vs vicodin: Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) and Vicodin are brand names for hydrocodone/acetaminophen combination. Like Heinz and Hunts are brand names of ketchup. Same thing, different brands so different prices. Hope this helps. Dr R

Brand vs generic: Vicodin is now changed,The strength is different. Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) is brand name. The strength of Hydrocodone makes one more or less powerful. Not one drug is better than the other.
