Folic acid: Almost all Rx prenatal vitamins contain at least one milligram of folic acid to prevent fetal neural tube defects which One a Day's do not.

Prenatal vitamins: Prenatal vitamins are typically much higher in folic acid than a traditional multivitamin. Some prenatal vitamins are higher in iron and may contain a stool softener to ease constipation. There are some other B vitamins etc that may be different but prenatals are uniquely formulated with the intention to optimize pregnancy.
