Likely okay: Most tongue lacerations heal well on their own. If it is a large hole where the edges are not touching each other, stitches may be required. In either case avoid foods with small hard particles that could be caught in the opening.

Biting tongue: These are painful but usually heal up well in a very short period of time. Only issue is weather it may heal with a knot or bump.

Tongue injury: Yes, you need to have this medically evaluated today. The size of the hole and if bleeding is difficult to stop need suture repair. If suture repair is indicated it has to be done today, not tomorrow. You will also need to update your tetanus vaccine if you have not received one within the past 10 years.
