You need evaluation: You need to be seen and evaluated ASAP- bleeding and cramping after the confirmation of pregnancy makes me worry about a possible threatened miscarriage. You could wait until your scheduled appt on Thursday, but if it were me I'd want to know much sooner than that and would probably go to Urgent Care or the ER for prompt evaluation.

Call your doctor: Abdominal pain and bleeding during pregnancy can be serious. Call your doctor as soon as possible. In the US, doctors are often parts of groups who are available to take calls after business hours. If you have dizziness or severe pain or you cannot reach your doctor, go to an ER.

Assume nothing!: It is possible to have a period when you are pregnant; it's not uncommon to have cramping & a kindof period in very early pregnancy. Have you been pregnant before or is this your first time? What is your pregnancy history? Don't stress! If the blood is bright red, go to the ER & have them call your OB. If the blood looks like period blood keep track of how it passes & tell the Doc on Thursday.

Can monitor, BUT: These are at the very least the signs of a threatened miscarriage. An appointment is critical to complete. Bleeding requiring more than a pad per hour or severe abdominal pain requires immediate evaluation.
