Possiblee melanoma: an 8mm lesion with various shades of tan suggests a possible malignant melanoma. A totally dark nevus has less of a potential than the variagated pattern in a mole, to be melanoma. As long as it is nodular is important. Excision with a margin is suggested and then depenidng on the path report one goes from there.
