If needed: Fractured, impacted, or infected teeth that require extraction combined with tooth movement treatment is a choreographed ballet. This is a decision best made by your General Dentist, a specialist Oral Surgeon, and a specialist Orthodontist who coordinate your treatment with each other. Extraction may call for a pause in tooth movement treatment, but will not affect post-treatment stability.
