Been having cervical spine manual therapy from a pt for 4 months and have just read that it could cause a stroke. very concerned because i had a bad headache in middle of night the day of treatment.

PT: Is ordered by a physician who knows whether there is any risk of stroke due to compression of the vertebral artery. A competent physical therapist should know how to provide relief without damaging the artery.
