How does pain management work ? what is the treatment for permanent nerve damage from the cervical spine ?

Not permanent: Pain management is just that. It is a way to manage, or lessen the pain. Hopefully you make it bearable, or, as i tell my patients, it is intended to make you better able to strengthen the muscles, increase your activity, and make your eventual surgery much more effective. The only way to cure your pain is through surgery.

Many ways: For a non chemical approach to pain management, find a doctor familiar with sphenopalatine ganglion blockade which often helps where other methods of treatment, including surgery, have not been successful.
