Not really: If the facets are truly locked or perched, that is the situation where the normal "shingles on a roof" alignment is not right. If it is one-sided, this can be very painful and lead to neck deviation. The treatment is surgical either in a closed fashion with traction or with open surgery where the facets are "moved and re-aligned". You should consult a neurosurgeon.

Locked facet: The simplest treatment is to be placed in cervical traction for a period of time to reduce the jumped facet and this can be quite effective. In some cases the neurosurgeon might need to operate and reduce the jumped facet.

Osteopathic Eval: Some osteopathic physicians do manipulation to see if a vertebrae is dislocated and he/she can offer treatment by trying to correct the pathology. If this does not help, it could be pathology in your spine that needs to be further evaluation. Recommend seeing a pain/spine specialist.
