It means spurs-: -reacting 2 an underlying process, & at your age group, most likely mild arthritis which is an inflammatory process, & the body reacts 2 this forming spurs. If they are large which you do not say it may B more advanced. If symptomatic, NSAIDS help if you can take them. Activity modification also. If need eval, see a fellowship trained spine surgeon, or start with a rheumatologist. Sorry no pics
