Sex & hemorrhoids: In most cases hemorrhoids shouldn't affect vaginal intercourse. Anal intercourse would understandably exacerbate hemorrhoids and should be avoided. If hemorrhoids are not responding to laxatives and anti-inflammatory cream, or if they are interfering with vaginal intercourse, see your healthcare provider to discuss how intercourse might be affecting your condition and to explore treatment options.
