Reflux: You are suffering from reflux. You either have a cough or a globus type (mucous type feeling in your throat like mucous you can not clear or a lump in the throat) sensation. You may even have heartburn or an acid taste in your throat. In some cases you will have none of these sensations yet you feel a tightness over the cricophayngeus muscle as it inserts on the pharynx. It may take > 4 wks.
