See endodontist!: Holes have to be repaired, or it is going to destroy him the gums and increased bacteria into your circulation through the vast dental microtubule system. So you have to get this repaired right away, and have either a dental implant put in, or something to protect your gums. Also you need to have someone address your Gingivitis, and have this completely resolved. Bleeding gums is it poor prognostic indicator for longevity, take control now!

Two issues: See an Endodontist to determine if the tooth can be saved or should be extracted and replaced with an implant or other restoration. See a Periodontist for an evaluation and appropriate treatment. See a General Dentist or Prosthdontist to act as team leader and coordinate your treatment plan.

See a dentist: Very hard to diagnose your problem with the little information you've posted. A local dentist can examine your tooth, and with a radiograph, let you know what trfeatment you need to make things right.

Possible retreat: The old root canal may fail, if you have a hole in the tooth & food kept on lodging in that hole, leading to bacterial activity which might have reinfected the tooth. If the tooth is overall restorable & presents good prognosis, Root canal can be redone & tooth restored with proper final restoration.Visit your dentist for proper evaluation & appropriate treatment.

See a dentist: ASAP. It is not good for you to have infection, pain and gum bleeding. Implants cannot even work if you lose extensive amount of bone due to periodontal disease, if that is the case. Even a tooth had an RCT, it won't be immune to decay as well.

See dentist: You should call your dentist or call a dentist to have a thorough examination, including radiographs to determine what is exactly going on in your mouth, as related to the tooth with the root canal and the possibility of periodontal disease. Please don't wait. The longer you wait, the worse it can become.

Root canal: If there is a hole in the gum above the tooth, it can be an indication of an abscess . This might be caused by an infection caused by gum disease. It might also be caused by a failure of the root canal, or a cracked tooth. See your dentist to have this evaluated as soon as possible.

Root canal: It sounds like you may have a failed root canal and they do not fail very often. The sealer in the tooth may have failed- You need to see an endodontist-specialist for root canals and they will help you decide on a plan.

Examination: Although it sounds as if you may have a failed root canal you may also have concurrent gum disease or abscess of an adjacent tooth, just to mention a few possibilities. It is improper for us, and not possible, to try to diagnose your problem over the computer. You need to be physically examined, probably with x-ray support, by a dentist. The dentist may want to refer you to an endodontist.

Gingival abscess: A gum abscess usually requires treatment; otherwise it can worsen and result in the destruction of the surrounding tissue. See your dentist for evaluation and treatment ASAP.

See dentist ASAP: See your dentist and have the area evaluated both clinically and radiographically. If deemed necessary, you may be referred to a periodontist. There are many variables, the tooth may be fractured, the existing root canal may be problematic or an infection may be evident related to the periodontal status of the tooth or teeth in general.
