I had a root canal on tooth #14 many years ago. recently an endodontist redid it and also performed a procedure on the upper outside gum. i am still?

Unclear question: Unclear of the question, perhaps cut off. The endodonist retreated the tooth and possibly performed an apicoectomy, therefore the tooth can possibly be restored.

Question cut off: "Recently" does not give information as to how long ago procedure was done. You may still be healing from the surgery. If you are concerned, return to the specialist for post-surgical reevaluation. Post-surgical care is part of the procedure that you "recently" had accomplished.
