What did dentist say: You need someone to look in there and see what things actually look like. Many times conservative treatment with good oral care will alleviate the edema and swelling as tooth eruption finishes. In some extreme cases, surgery may be needed, but these are few and far between in this young age group. Try conservative management first, can always then still opt for surgery
