10-14 days: STOP insulting the tissues with chemicals. Too much salt will dedicate the gums. Stop treating this as a DIY project. See. pro, a General Dentist, Periodontist, or Oral Surgeon to determine the extent of the traumatic injury and what, if any, treatment is indicated. Also ask for proper Oral Hygiene instructions (brush thoroughly but GENTLY) so that you don't cause more trauma.
