See dentist: The gums at back without teeth may hurt you while eating ,chewing . during this process gum s come in contact opposite each other and get hurt . gum is a soft tissue and little pressure may cause pain . Be careful while chewing .

Worried : It must be from something else. What did you dentist say? An infection should be evident. Perhaps it's jaw/joint pain. Can also get referred pain from another tooth or area of the mouth. Were xrays taken?Try seeing another dentist.
