Miscommunication: I was not there for your conversation with your dentist but you may have misunderstood what was said. Infections may or may not hurt... they need to be treated regardless. Just because you're not in pain does not mean that you should not worry. Many cancers are painless, but you can die from them. Complications are very rare.. have faith in your healthcare providers.
