Possibly: Girls this age have a higher risk of complications that includes pre-eclampsia, (high blood pressure. fluid retention, seizures). Many do have normal deliveries, but there can be problems.

Teen Pregnancy: I cannot tell you what to expect. But, she is at risk of significant complications. Many of us feel here that allowing a fourteen year old to carry a pregnancy is, in a word, inappropriate. She and her baby are at risk of complications. Let's hope she has a good team to support her pregnancy, the delivery and the post delivery care for her and the baby.
