A member asked:

Central chest pain when moving upper body or bending forward, no pain upon rest or inhaling, could this just be muscular?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: The presence of chest pain with movement most often indicates a muscular cause. Usually cardiac pain is worse with exertion, and lung related causes of chest pain are worse with breathing. Nothing is ever 100%, though. If you have risk factors for heart disease (smoking, obesity, high BP, diabetes, or a family history), see your doctor to be sure. Hope this helps!
