See your PCP: I do not have enough information to give a detailed response. What I can say is that you are quite young to be on a blood pressure (BP) lowering agent. Amlodipine can cause increase body water, and if you have swelling of the ankles, I suggest you see your PCP ASAP. Because you are having significant symptoms, AND your BP is not controlled on the maximal dose, you need to see your PCP ASAP.
