Can you tell me if it's common for adults to get bone cancer with no family history?

Dr. Gerald Mandell answered

Usually no fam hx: Primary bone cancer is not caused by a faulty gene that can be passed down through families. But people who have some rare genetic syndromes have higher risk of some types of bone cancer than other people.
