Here are the stats: About 3000 persons in the us will get a primary bone cancer this year (incidence) chondrosarcoma (40+%) and osteosarcomas (28%) account for most of the adult cancers. However, many more persons will have another cancer metastasize to the bones. Why, because 1.2 million persons will be diagnosed with some type of cancer this year, and 600, 000 of them will develop metastases to bone.
