Little evidence: There is not much, if any, evidence that stem cell treatment will improve the outcomes of shoulder surgery. Not sure what surgery your father is having, but for rotator cuff repair there is hope that factors can be found that will enhance healing, but I am unaware of any strong evidence that stem cells, or other biologic additives, reliably improve outcomes.
