My father has a small tumor (signet ring cell) a little above the ge. he has gone through na chemo radiation. what care shld we take b4 surgery?

Make sure it has not: Check and make sure the tumor has not spread elsewhere before surgery is carried out. Surgery is only useful if the tumor is localized to one area and can be completely removed, leaving no visible or micscroscopic cancer cells behind.
