See Below: Recurrent infections are when someone gets too many infections in a given period of time like 10 sinus infections in a year. They can also be more severe infections less frequently like pneumonia 3 times/yr. Immune deficiency is a problem with your immune system that results in a decreased ability to fight infections. Antibiotic resistance is when an infection no longer gets betters with drug.
