Had an antibiotic for kidney infection (to take 4 x per day) but fell asleep for 16 hrs and missed 3 doses. felt better, now feel worse. resistance?

You should: resume your antibiotics immediately. Partial treatment is better than no treatment in this case. Resistance is possible but not likely, unless you repeatedly miss your doses. If you develop flank pain or fever, consult with your doctor again.
