Work up incomplete: You r on the right track, allergist yet to continue his/her work, chronic sinus infection can sometimes be challenging, the good news is that it isn't immunodeficiency or cf.

Immune/allergy tests: Chronic sinusitis may be an indication that there is an immune problem. If other systems or organs are involved, then a pattern of the cultures will help the immunologist better determine the next step in the work up. It is important to confirm with your pediatrician that your child's growth is normal. I hope this helps. Prmg pediatrics/respiratory can review records faxed to 858 259 9689.
