Need A1c: Hi. Individual sugars don't tell anything about your overall diabetes control, although the sugars you cite look pretty darn good. You need an A1c to assess overall control (and risk of complications), and preferably, many A1c's over time. Eat healthily, exercise regularly, take your diabetes medicine, control comorbid conditions (blood pressure, lipids), and don't smoke. Good luck!
