See below: If you are having symptoms, e.g., frequent urination, constant thirst, weight loss, fasting blood sugar and hemoglobin a1c level would be of help. Random blood sugar level of 208 is not worrisome unless you are experiencing symptoms described above.

A glucose tolerance test would be the most accurate test for you.
