Yes: Having that much sugar stresses your pancreas, causing it to secrete large amounts of insulin, leading to Insulin resistance and starts you down the road to diabetes. Doing this once won't cause diabetes but doing it even once in a great while is not good for you and will definitely increase risk of diabetes. Sugar is toxic! and it's even worse if it's from high fructose corn syrup or gmo beets!
