What do you suggest if my friend is 7monthspregnant and takes methadone w/o dr. order.she insists her baby is fine.what do you think?

Methadone & pregnant: Taking non-prescribed methadone while pregnant is dangerous! If not rx'ed, it can't be known what else may be in the "meth" and what other substances, are being ingested. The best choice ur friend could make is to TELL HER MD. In so doing, she may be transitioned to rx'ed methadone, get safe prenatal care, & avoid the trauma of being separated from baby when tox+ at delivery. TELL MD & get care!
