A member asked:

What happens if thallium scan show normal blood flow than is it necessary to still have echocardiography to rule out heart disease in hypertensive patient?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cardiac function: Thallium will only show if your heart muscle is getting appropriate blood flow. The echo will show how your heart is functioning and if the valves are working well
